What we watch

What RedAiLert
watches

AI vendors change their policies, providers, and products often, sometimes between your formal reviews. RedAiLert will watch publicly observable changes in these areas, for the vendors you tell us you use.

Phase 1 boundary

Read-only, external vendor intelligence from public and vendor sources. You tell us your tools and how you use them. No employee monitoring, device monitoring, inspection of internal prompts or data, connections into your internal AI systems, or changes to any vendor or customer system.

01Privacy & data useChanges to how AI vendors collect, use, retain, or process data.
Examples

Updated privacy policies, new data-use terms, longer or shorter data-retention periods, and changes to whether your data may be used to train models.

02Subprocessors & model providersChanges in the companies, infrastructure, or model providers involved in delivering an AI service.
Examples

New or removed subprocessors, a switch to a different underlying model provider, and changes in where data is hosted or processed.

03Security disclosuresPublicly disclosed incidents, vulnerabilities, and material security changes.
Examples

Publicly disclosed breaches, published vulnerabilities, security advisories, and changes to a vendor’s stated security practices.

04Terms, compliance & regulatory informationChanges to terms, policies, compliance claims, certifications, or regulatory status.
Examples

Updated terms of service, acceptable-use policies, certifications gained or lost, and public regulatory actions involving a vendor.

05CapabilitiesImportant changes to AI capabilities, functionality, access, or default behavior.
Examples

New capabilities, removed features, changes to default settings, and changes in who can access what inside a tool.

06Availability & related risk signalsMaterial outages, availability problems, and other public signals that may affect risk.
Examples

Significant outages, repeated availability problems, and announced changes that may disrupt how your team uses a tool.

The planned platform

In development

Watchlists. Alerts.
A place to review.

We’re building three connected parts. None of them are live yet.

01
In development

AI vendor watchlists

You will choose the AI tools and vendors your organization depends on, and tell us how you use them.

02
In development

Material change alerts

Planned: evidence-backed notifications when a change may deserve review. Not active yet.

03
In development

Risk workspace

Planned: review the evidence, assign owners, and record what your team decides to do.

How it works

From vendor change
to team decision.

This connected workflow is in development. Your team stays in charge of every decision.

Planned workflowSeven stepsIn development
  1. 01

    Watch

Choose the AI vendors and tools your business depends on.

  2. 02

    Detect

Monitor meaningful external changes in privacy, data use, security disclosures, terms, subprocessors and model providers, capabilities, availability, compliance and regulatory information, and related risk signals.

  3. 03

    Evidence

Preserve original sources, timestamps, and before and after language.

  4. 04

    Understand

Explain what changed and why it may matter, in plain business language.

  5. 05

    Assess

Classify potential impact and materiality, and prioritize review using risk categories and your exposure. These are review priorities, not definitive findings.

  6. 06

    Alert

Deliver evidence-backed notifications when a material change occurs. Planned delivery, not active.

  7. 07

    Review

Assign issues, document decisions and actions, and track resolution in a risk workspace and audit trail. Planned capability.

Planned

Context that
builds over time

Three ideas guide what we are building. None of them are live yet.

In development

RedAiLert remembers

A planned history of each vendor’s changes: what changed, when, the earlier wording, and how the vendor’s risk profile has evolved, with links to the supporting sources.

In development

Risk depends on your exposure

The same vendor change can matter more or less depending on which tools you use and where and how you use them. You supply that context. RedAiLert does not inspect or discover your internal systems.

In development

A record of your team’s response

Planned ownership, review notes, decisions, actions, and resolution history, so you keep an audit trail of how each change was handled.

Who it’s for

Built for teams responsible for AI risk

If your organization relies on third-party AI tools, RedAiLert helps your team keep track of material changes that are easy to miss. You don’t need a large compliance department to use it.

Our purpose

Clarity before consequences.

RedAiLert is independent AI risk intelligence for businesses. We help you understand a vendor change before you decide how to respond.

An alert means a change may require review. A public policy, security, or product change is a review signal, not proof that a vendor caused harm, and not a judgment that your organization is out of compliance.

RedAiLert provides intelligence, evidence, and context. It does not make legal decisions. Your team decides what action to take.

Questions

What to know now.

When will RedAiLert be available?

RedAiLert is still being built. We plan to open early access in stages. Signup is not open yet, and we’ll share timing when the first version is ready to use responsibly.

What will RedAiLert watch?

Publicly observable changes at the AI vendors and tools you tell us you use: privacy and data use, security disclosures, terms, subprocessors and model providers, capabilities, availability, and compliance and regulatory information.

Does RedAiLert monitor our employees or internal systems?

No. Phase 1 is read-only external intelligence from public and vendor sources. It does not watch employees, devices, internal prompts or data, connect to your internal AI systems, or change any vendor or customer system.

How does RedAiLert know which tools we use?

You tell us. You list your AI vendors and how you use them. RedAiLert does not discover tools automatically.

Who is it for?

Teams responsible for AI risk, such as IT, security, privacy, compliance, legal, procurement, operations, and risk management. You don’t need a large compliance department to use it.

How will alerts be delivered?

Alert delivery is planned and not active. We’ll confirm delivery options and setup steps before launch.

Does RedAiLert give legal advice?

No. Alerts are signals for human review, not proof of harm or legal or compliance findings. Your team decides what to do.
